• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 4 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).


    This beauty features a Large Cream Pot Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Large Freehand Cobalt Floral Bouquet.  Strong cobalt with lots of flourishes!  Measures 14" tall and 10" wide across the top. 


    Very Good Condition.  Some glaze chips on the bottom inside, two chips inside the rim (3/8", 5/8"), two chips on the top of the rim (1/2" each), a chip on the right handle and base (3/8" each), and some light staining near the base.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
