    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Crock made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).


    This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Large Bird on a Branch Executed with a Slip Cup in Very Bright Cobalt Blue. The decoration is a bit different in the fact that the bird is facing left.  Measures 10 1/4" tall and 10 3/4" wide across the top.


    Excellent Condition.  A couple 1/4" chip on the back bottom.   That's it! No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Very clean glaze
