Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Stylized Floral Bouquet.  Stands 10 3/4" tall.
 
Good Condition.  A hairline through the handle and some staining from use.  No spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Some bubbling in the cobalt and a stone ping near the bottom in the making.
