Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Preserve Jar made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Bright Cobalt Floral Bouquet Decoration.  Stands 11 1/2" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Two small chips inside the rim (1/4", 3/8") and two glaze flakes on the front right near the bottom (3/8", 1/2").  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
