• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun & Co. Fort Edward, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun who ran his pottery from 1875-1882 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).


    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Bird Poised on a Tall Branch Executed with a Slip Cup.  Strong cobalt on a light clay background makes for great visual appeal.  Stands 14 3/4" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  A 3/8" chip inside the spout, two chips outside the spout (1/4", 3/8"), and a shallow and narrow 3/4" chip on the bottom of the right side.   That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
