Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 1/2" Sampler Jug that reads, "Hanlen Brothers, Wine and Liquor Merchants, Harrisburg, PA. Our Little Brown Jug Wishes You a Merry Christmas."
 
Dating around 1900-1920, this beauty was made as a sample of "Christmas Cheer" for advertising purposes. It features 5 lines of advertising and a garland of Christmas holly.  Clear and crisp stencil.  Measures 6 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A pinhead-size nibble inside the spout that may be in the making.  That's it!  No outer spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
