Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware 6 1/2" Wax Sealer made by "Hamilton & Jones, Greensboro, Pa."

This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157).

Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features the desirable small size, stovepipe form, and a stencil that wraps around a vine.  Stands 6 1/2" tall.

Excellent condition.  A 3/16" chip on the inner rim, two smal chips inside the top rim (1/8", 1/4"), and some surface wear from use.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
