    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Outstanding 1 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration Stamped "H. MYERS"


    Henry Myers was a merchant who ran a Stoneware Manufactory in Baltimore, Maryland in the 1820's.  The pottery was operated by the New York trained Henry Remmey and his son, Henry Harrison Remmey. 


    Dating around 1825, this beauty features an a Squared Rim, the Pottery Stamp, and a Floral Garland all the way around Reminiscent of Decoration at the Alexandria, Virginia area by Millburn and others of the period.  Bold cobalt!  Stands 11 3/4" tall.


    Very Good Condition. Some water glass staining inside and some outside from use.  Chips around the 1/4" footer and underside (3/4" to 1/4").  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
