    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "H. B. Pfaltzgraff, York, PA ."


    This is the mark of Henry Pfaltzgraff who ran the family pottery in York in the 1870's and 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 50-52).


    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Classic Pfaltzgraff Decoration: The Sideways Brushed Cobalt Chrysanthemum.  The floral has 7 leaves and a blossom with 6 petals.  All the cobalt is bright and beautiful.,  Measures 8" tall and wide across the top.


    Good Condition.  Three chips on the outside of the rim (3/8" to 7/8"), and staining on teh bottom 1/2" and underside.  o inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
