• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this great 1 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Crock made and stamped by "F. T. Wright & Son, Stoneware, Taunton, Mass."


    This is the mark of the Franklin T. Wright and his son who ran their pottery from 1866 to the 1870's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 50).


    This beauty features a clear pottery stamp and a Cluster of Grapes Hanging from a Vine.  Nice crisp stencil in strong cobalt.  Measures 8 1/2" tall and 9 1/4" wide across the top.


    Very Good Condition.  A chip inside (1/4") and three outside the rim (1/8" to 3/8"), a faint 1" vertical hairline on the bottom of the right side that goes left and right 3" and wraps under 3" (closeup), some water glass staining inside and light staining at the base outside.   No base chips, cracks, or restoration.
