    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made and stamped by "Frank B. Norton & Co., Worcester, Mass."


    This is the mark of Frank Norton and Frederick Hancock who operated the pottery in Worcester using this stamp from 1858-1877 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 52-53).


    This beauty features the Cream Pot Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and Stylized Floral in Rich Cobalt Blue.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.  


    Very Good Condition.  A 2" hairline at the bottom of the right side that continues partway up the side as a surface-only craze line not visible inside (closeup).  Some water glass staining inside and outside from use.  No chips or restoration.
