    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "F. B. Norton, Worcester, MA." (Worcester is not impressed)


    This is the work of Frank Norton who made stoneware in Worcester using this stamp from 1877 to 1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 52-53).  


    This beauty features the pottery stamp and a Freehand Stylized Floral Bouquet executed in strong and bright cobalt blue.  Stands 14" tall


    Excellent Condition.  A single 5/8" chip on the spout on the right side toward the back, and a 1/4" chip and minor nibbles at the base.  That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A 3/16" stone ping on the far left of the decoration.
