Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and overstamped by "Evan R. Jones, Pittston, Pa."
Jones potted in Pittston in the 1870's and 1880's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 34-37).
This beauty features the pottery stamp with cobalt wash and a Large Brushed Cobalt Sideways Tulip in Vibrant Cobalt. The tulip has 5 leaves and a blossom with 3 petals. Measures 8" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A 1/2" chip inside the rim, two 3/8" chips on the left handle, and an 1/8" nibble on the right handle. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
A great form, size, and decoration!
