• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful and uncommon 1 Gallon Stoneware Merchant Jar that reads, "From Edward Heazelton, No. 18 Diamond, Pittsburgh, PA."


    This jar was made in Greensboro, PA by either Hamilton and Jones or James Hamilton.


    Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features the Company Name and Address in Four Lines Framed by Three Stripes at the Top and Two Stripes at the Bottom.  A glimpse into Pittsburgh's history!  Stands 9 1/2" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Some minor wear around the inside of the rim.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Mottled glaze in the making.  


    A five striper with advertising.
