    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Salt Glazed Cream Pot Stamped "Edmands  Co."


    This little pot is the work of Edward and Thomas Edmands who ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).


    This beauty features the Attractive Cream Pot Form with Rounded Rim, Tall Neck and Shoulder Band, as well as a Folk Art Floral. The floral has 4 downturned leves, a blossom with upturned petals, and additional leaves in the upper corners.  All the decoration is executed with a slip cup in shiny cobalt.  Stands 11" tall.


    Very Good Condition.  Shallow chipping inside on the bottom and on the sides from use, a 3/8" chip inside the rim, and some scattered light staining.   No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A stone ping on the back in the making.
