Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Early 1 Gallon Ovoid Jug attributed to Manhattan, New York.  


Dating to the early 19th century, this beauty features an Ovoid Form with Rounded Spout, Reeded Neck, and a Large Freehand Tulip with 4 Leaves and a Blossom with 5 Petals.  Put the form and the decoration together and we have a winner!  Stands 10 3/4" tall.


Very Good Condition.  Looks like a coating of white paint inside from use with a paint job, and some light staining on the back.  A 1/2" chip on top of the handle and some age spiders lines, mainly around the shoulder and below the decoration (closeup).  No spout or base chips, cracks, or restoration.
