• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Early 19th Century Stoneware Jar.


    The form and decoration indicate that this jar was made in New Jersey.  


    This beauty features sports a Carefully Tooled Rim that Tapers down in the Middle and then Flares Out at the Shoulder.  Incised lines and seven splashes of cobalt around the shoulder. Stands 10 1/4" tall.  


    Excellent Condition.  Two pinhead-size nibbles on the rim, a 1/4" chip at the base, and one light stain from use. That's it!  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A 3/8" stone ping on the rim in the making.
