Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this very nice 3 Crock made and stamped by "E. W. Farrington, Elmira , N.Y."
This is the mark of E. Ward Farrington who ran the family's pottery under this stamp from 1887-1893 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 75).
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Brushed Cobalt Steeple Flower. The flower has 20 leaves and a blossom of 8 dots. Measures 10" tall and 11 1/2" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Two 1/2" chips inside the rim, and a stain run behind the right handle. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
