• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Cute 6 Quart Crock made and stamped by "E. W. Farrington, Elmira , N.Y."


    This is the mark of E. Ward Farrington who ran the family's pottery under this stamp from 1887-1893 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 75).


    This beauty sports the pottery stamp with cobalt wash and Brushed Cobalt Sideways Tulip with 4 Leaves and a Blossom with 3 Petals.  Measures 8" tall and 9" wide.


    Excellent Condition. Four small chips inside the rim (1/8" to 3/8") and two outside in the back (1/8", 1/4").  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. 


    An uncommon Farrington crock in a great small size.
