Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by "E. Swasey & Co., Portland, Me."
 
This is the mark of the Swasey Pottery in Portland which ran from 1875 to around 1905.
 
This beauty features the Bordered Maker's Stencil with a Crown on Top. The crown is flanked by a lion and a unicorn! Measures 11 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Fine glaze crazing and overall light staining from use.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
