• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this cute little 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by "E. Norton & Co., Bennington, VT ."


    This is the mark of Edward Norton who ran the Norton Pottery in Bennington from 1881-1885 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 43-44).


    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Freehand Leaf.  The cobalt is shiny and really stands out!  Stands 10 3/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Very light overall staining from use.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  


    Great small size for decorating cupboards, counters, tables, etc.
