Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made and stamped by "E. & L. P. Norton, Bennington, VT."


This is the mark of Edward Norton and Luman Preston Norton, the son of Julius Norton, who worked together in the family pottery from 1861-1881 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 44).


This beauty sports a Handsome Bulbous Form with Tall Neck, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a  Stylized Floral Bouquet in Gorgeous Bennington Cobalt Blue!  Glassy and shiny glaze.  Stands proudly at 9" tall.


Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Exceptionally clean example.
