    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Cute Little 1 Gallon Stoneware Crock made and stamped by "E. & L. P. Norton, Bennington, VT."


    This is the mark of Edward Norton and Luman Preston Norton, the son of Julius Norton, who worked together in the family pottery from 1861-1881 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 44).


    This beauty sports a Small Size, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Signature Norton Decoration- a Brushed Cobalt Leaf in Strong Cobalt Blue.  Measures 7" tall and 8" wide across the top.


    Excellent Condition.  Some scattered light staining from use.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A 3/4" drying line on the back bottom in the making.
