Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Stoneware Bottle made for "Cork & Webb, Rochester, N.Y."
I have hunted for information on this bottle and could find none nor a record of one ever selling.
Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty features the Company Advertising Impressed on the Shoulder and Washed in Blue. Stands 8 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/2" surface line on the right side of the spout, and three small flakes around the base (1/8" to 1/4"). No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. An 1/8" chip on the top of the spout, and fine bubbles in the glaze on the back- all in the manufacture.
