• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made by "A. Conrad, New Geneva, Fayette Co., PA."

Alexander Conrad ran the pottery in New Geneva from 1870-1882 before moving to Shinnston, West Virginia (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 164-65).

Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features the Company Name and Address in a Triangle Pattern with a Rose in the Middle and Flourishes on the Top Edge.  Stands 11" tall.

Excellent Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind!

This is one of the more desirable and difficult to find Conrad decorations.  I have never seen it on a jug before.
