    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Jar made and stamped by "Connolly & Palmer, New Brunswick."


    This is the work of Thomas Connolly and Charles Palmer who ran the pottery in New Brunswick from 1881-1888 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 80).


    This beauty features a Large Stylized Cobalt Floral Bouquet on One Side and the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash on the other Side.  The floral is executed freehand and in strong and beautiful cobalt blue!  Stands 13 1/2" tall.


    Excellent Condition.   A narrow 1" chip on the underside at the edge on the left side. That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Very clean!  A single 1/4" iron ping inside the rim in the making.
