Item 3443
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher.
Dating around 1900, this beauty features a 1" Rim and Footer Defined by a Rounded Border, with Pretty Sponging. What makes is a bit unusual is the slightly wider form and the double blue stripe at the bottom that frames a white band. Rarely do I see this configuration. Stands 6 3/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. A 3/8" chip on the left side of the spout (closeup). That is it! No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
