Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Tooled Grooved Rim for the Hot Wax to Seal the Jar, Cinnamon Colored Glaze, and a Fancy Floral Stencil. The stencil consists of a center daisy surrounded by a garland of floral petals. Stands 8 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. A minor 1/8" nibble on the bottom of the right side. Otherwise as made!
