Item 3065
Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 6" Wax Sealer with Stenciled Floral.
I believe that it is the work of J. E. Eneix who made stoneware in New Geneva for the brief period of 1874-1876 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 165). In the photos, compare the very similar floral on a rare signed Eneix jar that I have in stock. Very similar execution.
This beauty features the desired 6" Size, Wax Sealer Form, and a Rare Floral with Stem with Leaves, Center Blossom, and Buds or Fruit at the Tip.
Excellent Condition. A minor 3/16" surface line at the base. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
Only jar with this decoration that I have ever seen.
