    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this superb 1 Gallon Stoneware Wax Sealer with 4 Stripes.

     

    The color and decoration indicate that it was made in Palatine, West Virginia about 1880 (modern Fairmont).

     

    This beauty features a Large Gallon Size, Finely Tooled Rim and Shoulder, and Four Brushed Cobalt Stripes Down the Front.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.

     

    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind. A small kiln touch on the front rim and a stone ping on the back near the bottom in the making.
