Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Salt Glaze Crock with Unusual Decoration.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Large "4" Capacity Number Underscored with Cat Whiskers, and an Elaborate Beesting Decoration with Similarity to the Red Wing "P" Decoration.  Measures 12" tall and 11" wide across the top.  7 1/2" tall.
 
I have seen this decoration one other time on a churn that I sold in 2016.
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 3/8" chip isnide the rim and a 1 1/2" chip at the base on the back (closeup).  That's it! No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
