Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Crock from the Midwest.
Circa 1880, this beauty features a "3" Capacity Number Flanked by Dashes at the Top, and a Tulip with 6 Leaves, Two Blossoms, and a Bud in the Center. Inscribed shoulder and additional cobalt accent on the front of the handles. Measures 10 1/2" tall and 10" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. Two 1/4" chips on the rim toward the back. No front rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1 1/2" surface-only drying line on the rim in the back in the making and glazed over (closeup).
