Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Ovoid Jar with 4 Stripes
The color and decoration indicate that it was made in West Virginia- probably Palatine (Fairmont).
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Carefully Tooled Rim, Light Gray Glaze, and Four Bowtie Stripes Evenly Spaced Down the Front. Stands 10 1/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. A 2" hairline from the rim on the right side. No chips, stains, or restoration. Slightly convex on the bottom in the making.
