Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 1/4" Stovepipe Wax Sealer Canning Jar.
 
Circa 1870 and hailing from Southwestern Pennsylvania, this beauty features the Cylindrical Stovepipe Form with Wax Sealer Grooved Rim, and Three Bold Brushed Cobalt Stripes on the Front that Alternate between Straight and Wavy.  Light gray glaze and dark cobalt stripes make for a strong contrast. 
 
Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the inner rim, and a glued crack down the back to an X on the bottom.  No rim or base chips, or stains.
