    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Wax Sealer Striper Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.


    Dating around 1870, this beauty features a Finely Tooled Rim with Grooved Rim for Pouring Wax Into and Sealing the Jar with a Metal Cap, and Three Brushed Cobalt Stripes Spaced Evening Down the Front.  Light gray clay and rich cobalt for a very pleasing contrast.  Stands 8" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Four very minor nibbles inside the rim (pinhead-size to 3/16").  That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Small kiln touch on the right side in the making.
