    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Butter Crock from Southwestern Pennsylvania.


    Dating around 1870, this beauty features a Finely Tooled Rim with Deep Groove for Tying a Waxed Paper or Cloth Around the Top and the Center Attraction-  Three Brushed Cobalt Stripes.  The top and bottom stripe are straight and the middle one is wavy.  Measures 5 1/4" tall and 7 3/4" wide across the top.


    Excellent Condition.  Two minor nicks inside the rim (1/8", 3/8").  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Salt drip on the left side in the making.
