Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Canning Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Rim that Allows a Cover of Waxed Paper or Cloth to be Tied Over It, a Stripe around the Rim, and Five Three-Leaf Clovers around the Middle. Stands 9 3/4" tall.
Very Good Condition. A 3/8" chip on the bottom edge and a hairline on the bottom near the edge (picture of the underside to the right). That's it! No rim chips, stains, or restoration. A surface-only drying line on the bottom in the making (picture of the underside to the left).
