Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Decorated Stoneware Milk Bowl made in Baltimore, Maryland.

A bowl like this would be used to let warm milk stand so that the cream could rise to the top and be poured off.

Dating to the 1860's, this beauty features a Squared Rim, Canted Sides, a Large Leaf on the Front and Back, and Cobalt Accents at the Handle Terminals. Measures Five Cobalt Leaves Around the Middle with Three Brushstrokes Each . Measures 4 1/2" tall and 11 1/2" wide across the top.

Excellent Condition. A single flat 1/2" chip to the left of the spout. That's it! No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
