Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Exceptional 8" Wax Sealer Canning Jar.


Dating around 1870 and coming from Southwest Pennsylvania, this beauty features a Tooled Rim, Slightly Canted Sides, and Four Broad Strokes of Rich Cobalt Evenly Placed Down the Front.   The dark and shiny stripes contrast strongly with the light gray clay for a visual delight.   Stands 8" tall.


Very Good Condition.  A 1/2" chip on the underside of the inner rim.  A narrow 1" chip on the underside on the left side in the making, and a narrow 2" chip on the bottom edge on the right side that may or may not be in the making (closeup).  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
