Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 8 1/4" Stoneware Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
This beauty was made around 1870 and features the Wax Sealer Form, Light Gray Clay, and Six Freehand Cobalt Stripes Down the Front. The cobalt really stands out on the light gray clay for super contrast. Stands 8 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. Two 3/8" chips on the inner rim, and two 1/4" chips on the bottom edge. That's it! No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
