    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 gallon Jar made in Southwestern Pennsylvania by either Hamilton and Jones of Greensboro or James Hamilton of Greensboro.


    Dating around 1870, this beauty features Top to Bottom Decoration.  From the top down are a stripe under the rim, a straight and squiggle stripe under the shoulder band, a row of freehand vining, three more stripes around the center, an encased capacity number with three dashes on each side, and three more stripes at the bottom.  Additional cobalt at the handle terminals.  Stands 14 3/4" tall. 


    Exceptional Condition.  As made!  No damage of any kind!  Comes from an old collection.
