    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock from the Northeast.


    Dating around 1870, this beauty features a Most Unusual Flower that Looks Like it is Sitting in an Urn.  All freehand with dashes providing shading.  Great artistry and pretty cobalt too.  Measures 8 3/4" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top.


    Very Good Condition.  Five small chips inside the rim (1/8" to 1/4"), two chips outside the rim, and a flat chip on the side of the right handle (1/2").  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Five short surface lines, three at the bottom (closeup 1) and three at the top (closeup 2) that appear to be surface firing lines in the making or age crazing.
