Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Decorated Milk Bowl from Maryland.  
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Squared Rim, Tapered Sides, and 6 Brushed Cobalt Leaves from the Rim.  Three brushstrokes of cobalt per leaf.  Additional cobalt around the handles.  Measures 4 1/2" tall and 11 1/2" wide across the top.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Two minor nibbles on the base (3/16").  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The front 1" of the left handle came off before firing and the potter just put more cobalt over the spot!
