Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug from the Northeast.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a very fanciful decoration. A Tornado as Roots supports Two Striped Leaves which in turn support Two Leafy Stems and with a Lily Blossom Each. All the decoration is drawn with a slip cup in rich cobalt. Stands 11" tall.
I have never seen such a strange combination, but it works!
Excellent Condition. An 1/8" nibble on the right side of the spout. That's it! Otherwise as made.
