Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Jar attributed to Baltimore, Maryland.
Circa 1870, this jar features a Tall and Slender Form with Tooled Rim and Six Units of Freehand Cobalt Comma Vining from the Rim. Each unit has seven brushstrokes of cobalt, one of which is nearly twice the length to create a dynamic visual! Stands 12 1/2" tall.
Excellent Condition. A chip inside the rim (3/8") and three at the base (1/4" to 3/4"). That's it! No outer chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1/4" stone ping on the rim in the making.
