Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this impressive 4 Gallon Stoneware Crock from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Dating around 1865, this beauty has a Tall and Narrow Form with Three Rows of Freehand Vining, as well as a Freehand Capacity Number with Leaves on Each Side. Also, cobalt accents at the handle terminals with wavy lines below. Stands 13 3/4" tall and 10 1/2" wide across the top.
Excellent Condition. A 2" chip on the rim in the back and some small glaze chips under the right handle. That's it! No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
