    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 2 Gallon Jar with Freehand Florals from Southwestern, Pennsylvania.


    Circa 1865, this beauty is Finely Made with Tooled Rim and Incribed Center Bands, Two Cobalt Stripes at the Top Accenting the Two Levels of the Rim, and Two Standing Tulips.  Actually 3 tulips!  One veers off to the right.  Light gray clay typical of pieces made in this region in the 1860's and artistic freehand decoration.  Stands 12" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  A couple nibbles and a 1/4" chip on the bottom ring of the rim, and some modest surface wear from use.  That's it!  No top rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A 1/2" chip on the right side of the rim in the making.
