Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Jar with Freehand Decoration from Soutthwestern Pennsylvania.
Dating around 1860, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Finely Tooled Rim, and Freehand Decoration. The decoration includes a stripe at the top, vining with flower at the end on the shoulder, and three stripes in the middle. Stands 14 7/8" tall.
Very Good Condition. Six chips inside the rim (3/4" to 7/8"), a 1/2" chip on the top of the rim on the right side, and some chips around the base. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
