Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Miniature Molded Redware Pitcher.

Experts tell me that this is the work of Henry Gast of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Gast began a pottery in Lancaster on West Orange Street in 1834 and ran under family members until just before 1900 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 18-19).

This beauty features an 8 Sided Form with Upsweapt Spout and Fancy Handle with Thumbgrip.  Lead an manganese glaze.  Stands 4 1/2" tall.

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
