Dating around 1860, this beauty is hand-turned in heavy clay with a Tall Neck with Pinched Spout. Incised Shoulder, Bulbous Base, and Blue Sponging on a Cream-Colored Glaze. A piece of true country spongeware. Stands 9 1/4" tall.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind. A kiln touch on one side in the making as shown.
